Actresses Who Play the Characters Nola, Dewi Sandra, and Mutia Ayu in the Biopic Film 'GLENN FREDLY THE MOVIE'

Kapanlagi.com - Film GLENN FREDLY THE MOVIE released teaser poster and teaser trailer on Wednesday (24/1/2024). From the teaser trailer, it is revealed that this biopic will include the story of the late Glenn Fredly with three special women in his life, namely Ria Finola alias Nola B3, Dewi Sandra, and Mutia Ayu.

In the film version, the character Nola is played by Alyssa Abidin, while the character Dewi Sandra is played by Sonia Alyssa, and the character Mutia Ayu is played by Zulfa Maharani. To include their stories, Daniel Mananta as the producer revealed that they have obtained permission from the relevant parties.

"If asked whether we have obtained permission, of course we have obtained permission, it's impossible to proceed without permission. Because this is the story behind Bung Glenn creating his songs, his heartbreak, hopefully it will answer later," said Daniel when met at Epicentrum XXI, Rasuna Said area, South Jakarta, on Wednesday (24/1/2024).

1. Alyssa Abidin Plays Nola B3

Newcomer Alyssa Abidin is trusted to portray the character of Riafinola Ifani Sari or Nola B3. She is the former girlfriend of Glenn Fredly who inspired the creation of the song January.

It is known that Glenn had an on-off relationship with the singer for seven years before Nola finally married Baldy. "I am here as Nola, Glenn's lover who inspired him to write songs," said Alyssa on the same occasion.

2. Sonia Alyssa Portrays Dewi Sandra

Then there is Sonia Alyssa who is cast as Dewi Sandra, Glenn Fredly's ex-wife. Interestingly, Sonia did not know the musician's songs before getting involved in the film GLENN FREDLY THE MOVIE.

"I am here playing Dewi, one of Glenn's lovers. When I was first offered this film, I was surprised because I was not exposed to much of his music. But when I got this character and got to know his life, I felt that there are many people who surely love and cherish Glenn," explained Sonia.

3. Zulfa Maharani Plays Mutia Ayu

Finally, there is Zulfa Maharani who plays Mutia Ayu, Glenn Fredly's second wife whom he married in 2019. To deepen the character, Zulfa had many conversations with Mutia directly.

"I was trusted to play the character of Mutia Ayu, so I had conversations with her. I also got to know Bung Glenn's personality from her stories," said Zulfa.
