Kapanlagi.com - The film BAD BOY IN LOVE, directed by Hanny R Saputra, will finally be screened in theaters starting March 14, 2024, after being postponed due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Although the filming process was completed in 2019, the release of this film had to be delayed until now.

According to Hanny Saputra, this film was born in the right conditions, namely during the Covid-19 pandemic, and this film is inseparable from the personality of Generation Z. In his press conference, Hanny Saputra stated that this film is not only entertaining but also educational.

"This film was born in the right position, we made it during the Covid-19 era because of those obstacles, so we postponed it until now. So, this film educates people to become adults in a youthful way. This film is very close to Gen Z. This film is very entertaining and educational," said Hanny Saputra in his press conference at Epicentrum, Kuningan, South Jakarta, on Friday (8/3/2024).

The film produced by Silent D Pictures features several big names in the Indonesian film industry, such as Jeff Smith, Cassandra Lee, Nicole Parham, Garry Iskak, Dewi Rezer, Baron Y. Siregar, Tubagus Ali, Krisna Murti W, and Cinta Dewi.

Nicole Parham and Jeff Smith also shared the fun during the shooting process. Nicole expressed that she felt helped and enjoyed every shooting moment with Hanny Saputra, while Jeff Smith acknowledged the kindness and professionalism of Nicole and Cassandra Lee.

"Nicole and Cassandra are both good, both professional and beautiful, if asked to choose, I can't, it's really fun to work with them, they work with an open mind, I can't choose," said Jeff Smith.

The film BAD BOY IN LOVE itself tells the love story between Jethro (Jeff Smith) and Sara (Nicole Parham), which is filled with various challenges due to their different school backgrounds. With the hope of entertaining and inspiring, BAD BOY IN LOVE is ready to greet the audience on the big screen.

"I play the role of Lea, and of course, I'm a little nervous about this film coming out. What will the public's response be like? Will they be excited, because lately we've been bombarded with darker and more serious films. With the release of BAD BOY IN LOVE, the audience can also enjoy it because it caters to all ages," said Cassandra Lee.
