Adhisty Zara is no longer involved in the sequel film 'DUA GARIS BIRU', here's the reason

Kapanlagi.com - The success of the film DUA GARIS BIRU released in 2019 has led Gina S Noer, the director and screenplay writer, to prepare its sequel titled DUA HATI BIRU. However, when the promotional material in the form of a teaser trailer was revealed, the public was surprised because Adhisty Zara is no longer involved.

As known, Zara previously portrayed the main female character named Dara. However, in the sequel film, the character is given to Nurra Datau, who is the daughter of Sha Ine Febriyanti.

1. Related to Contract

Gina S Noer explains that the absence of Adhisty Zara in the film DUA HATI BIRU is related to a contract. However, the wife of Salman Aristo chooses not to explain in detail.

"When and why Zara, whom we love, eventually changes and her role becomes Nurra, it is part of growth. When we discuss with Zara and talk about the contract, it is indeed in that area. If you want to know the details, it is impossible to describe. The problem is simple, everything is just not right at the moment," said Gina, met at Epicentrum XXI, Rasuna Said area, South Jakarta, on Thursday (7/3).

2. Common Changes

Meanwhile, producer Chand Parwez said that the change of the player from Adhisty Zara to Nurra Datau is a common thing in the film industry. He hopes that this change can be accepted by the audience.

"Contractually, we are factual. Looking at business decisions, this is the best and hopefully it can also be felt by you (the audience). We need freshness and this is a common thing in the film industry in any part of the world. In fact, it becomes a new energy," said Parwez in the same occasion.
