Ernest Prakasa Admits He Had Doubts About Producing the Film 'Kaka Boss', Here’s the Reason

Kapanlagi.com - Ernest Prakasa is once again involved in the latest film project titled 'Kaka Boss'. This film marks Arie Kriting's directorial debut, while Ernest serves as the producer.

However, it turns out that before the execution of this film, there were doubts from Ernest Prakasa. He admitted to having doubts when involved in the comedy-drama film 'Kaka Boss' due to the unique concept presented by the production team.

"When this film was first being prepared, I honestly had a lot of doubts," said Ernest Prakasa when met at XXI Epicentrum, South Jakarta, on Thursday (22/8).

"Because the concept is that Arie Kriting's majority are Eastern people and not very well-known, including the main cast," he continued.

The film 'Kaka Boss' stars Godfred Orindeod as Ferdinand 'Kaka Boss' and Glory Hillary as Angel. They are the central characters in this film.

Interestingly, 'Kaka Boss' marks the debut drama film for Godfred, who has been in the entertainment industry for over a decade as an actor. Not only that, this film also serves as Glory's acting debut.

During the production process, Ernest admitted he was surprised by the abilities of these two main actors.

"But, during the reading process, they were great, and it ultimately proved in this film," he said.

2. Hoping for a Positive Response

On the same occasion, Dipa Andika, as the producer of this film, agreed with Ernest. He highly appreciates the acting quality of the cast in this film.

Even the drama presented in this film has become a unique attraction and is hoped to be enjoyed by all audiences.

"The drama is about a father and son, which happens to relate to most of the Indonesian society," he explained.

"The hope is that this can be accepted not only by friends from Eastern Indonesia but also by all groups," he added.
