Musician Sal Priadi Selected as Cast Member of the Film 'LIKE REVENGE', Initially Thought Only to Fill the Soundtrack

Kapanlagi.com - Production house Palari Films announced the actors who will play the characters Ajo Kawir and Tokek in the film adaptation of Eka Kurniawan's novel titled LIKE REVENGE, LONGING MUST BE PAID IN FULL. The two names are Marthino Lio as Ajo Kawir and Sal Priadi as Tokek.

Sal's involvement in Edwin's film marks his acting debut. Interestingly, the singer of the song Amin Paling Serius initially thought he was only offered to fill the original soundtrack instead of being a supporting actor.

"As far as I remember, when I was invited to the meeting, I thought it was for the soundtrack. So I had no idea. But during the conversation, it was directed towards something challenging, and as soon as I got home, I was like, 'Wow!'" said Sal during a virtual conference on Thursday (11/5/2020).

1. Dealing with Senior Players

Making an acting debut, especially for a big screen production, is certainly not easy. Besides having to face the camera, it becomes a challenge when you have to play alongside senior actors.

"Dealing with senior players is something challenging for me. And the first time there was a huge camera in front of my face, whoa. Especially when they shout 'Cut!', what's going on? But it's exciting and precious," said the musician from Malang.

2. No Distance

Sal Priadi played the character Tokek, who is the closest friend of Ajo Kawir. To establish chemistry and make their friendship feel real in the film, it was not too difficult, as Marthino Lio is a humble person.

"From the first time I met Lio, I felt like we were on the same frequency in the way he introduced himself. So there was no difficulty and distance," said the 28-year-old man.
