Nirina Zubir Dragged by Trauma and Terror in the Film 'CALL FROM THE GRAVE'

Kapanlagi.com - Mencekam Studios continues to show its consistency in the horror genre with their latest work, CALL FROM THE GRAVE. This time, they collaborated with Maxima Pictures to create a film that not only creates tension but also leaves an emotional mark.

This collaboration between the two production houses is not new, especially since they previously succeeded with films like QODRAT and DARK POWER. This collaboration occurs again to ensure the quality of production for Call From The Grave can compete in cinemas across the country.

The film is directed by Dyan Sunu Prastowo, who is known for his distinctive style in crafting horror stories wrapped in drama. He successfully makes the story of loss feel real through the character Alya, played by Nirina Zubir.

"This film is not just about horror, but also about loss and a mother's guilt. I want the audience to feel Alya's inner dilemma as she faces the most terrifying reality of her life," said Dyan Sunu Prastowo at a press conference in Kemang, South Jakarta, on Monday (14/7/2025).

In addition to Nirina, this film also stars Nugie, who plays a crucial role as a father named Raka. According to him, Raka carries a heavy burden in maintaining his sanity amidst the tragedy that strikes his family.

"Raka is a father figure trying to stay sane while his family is falling apart. Fear, sadness, and helplessness blend into one, especially when your own child becomes the source of terror," said Nugie.
