Not Familiar with the Term 'Pelakor', Nirina Zubir Feels Comfortable Being a Second Wife

Kapanlagi.com - Actress Nirina Zubir has just finished filming her latest series titled Saiyo Sakato. A short film that is streamed on the GoPlay app. In this series, Nirina Zubir plays the role of Nita, the second wife of Da Zul played by actor Lukman Sardi.

This time, the character played by Nirina Zubir is very different from the films she has ever played. Here, she becomes a fierce and brave mother of one. In fact, she is so brave that she even fights with Mar (Cut Mini), Da Zul's first wife.

1. Different Characters

Apparently, this role became a character that Nirina Zubir had been eagerly waiting for. Because, during the film, the wife of Ernest Syarif often played the role of a gentle woman.

"Oh yes, absolutely. Actually, for Nirina, this is stepping out of her comfort zone because she usually always plays the protagonist, sweet characters. This time, even though the character may not be as antagonistic, her position is as the second wife. In society, being a second wife is something like 'what the heck!'. Those kinds of words come out," said Nirina Zubir at Conclave Coworking, Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta, on Friday (24/1/2020).

2. Not Easy

Of course, the role played by Nirina Zubir is not easy. She admitted that she was very careful in portraying the character Nita here. Moreover, in this series, not all of Nirina's roles are antagonistic.

"So when playing this, I had to be very careful not to be too dominant, but also not to be weak. Not too annoying, intimidating, but can also be loved. That's why this character is very multi-faceted, I have to play more of this part, and then more of this part. This one is mischievous, this one is more antagonistic, this one is more pitiful," said Nirina.

3. Comfortable

Nirina Zubir admits to feeling comfortable playing the character Nita in the series Saiyo Sakato even though she is a bit of an antagonist. "It's really nice, very comfortable to play. It's like every day I'm always learning, learning," she said.

Several actors and actresses are involved in the series Saiyo Sakato. Starting from Cut Mini, Lukman Sardi, Nirina Zubir, Fergie Britney, Jourdy Pranata, Chicco Kurniawan, Gamaliel Eleazar, Dea Panendra, Indra Jegel, and Chandra Satria.
