Prilly Latuconsina Urges Rossa to Make a Documentary Film

Kapanlagi.com - Singer Rossa officially released the trailer and poster for her latest documentary film titled All Access to Rossa 25 Shining Years. This film tells the story of Rossa's 25-year career in the Indonesian music industry.

"This film explains that I'm just an ordinary woman living a life outside the stage. On stage, it's glamorous and shining, but when I come off the stage, I'm not a perfect person," said Rossa in a press conference at CGV Grand Indonesia, Central Jakarta, on Wednesday (3/7/2024).

Rossa stated that the purpose of this film is to share her life experiences during her 25-year career.

"I've been trying to have a career for more than 25 years. I just want to share my 25-year career experience, hopefully it can be taken positively," she said.

1. The Other Side

The idea for making this documentary film came from Prilly Latuconsina, who also acted as executive producer. Prilly felt the need to reveal the other side of Rossa's life that has not been widely known by the public.

"Prilly forced me to expose how my career journey has been for the past 25 years," said Rossa.

Prilly, who has known Rossa for a long time, explained that there are two interesting sides of Rossa's life to be revealed.

"So, I have known Teh Ocha (Rossa's nickname) for quite a long time. I've watched her concerts, so there are two different lives. On stage, she is a diva, but off stage, she is a great woman, a strong mother, with a vulnerable side," said Prilly.

2. Inspiring Many People

Prilly hopes that Rossa's struggle story can inspire many people, especially in how Rossa faces sadness and still manages to smile in front of many people.

"Her story can inspire many people. They need to know Teh Ocha's struggle in facing sadness but still smiling to many people. Heartache becomes a song that has been enjoyed for 25 years," said Prilly.

3. Two Years

Prilly Latuconsina then revealed that the production process of this film took two years. "Finally, Teh Ocha entrusted me to produce this documentary. It took two years. I want people to see this. Hopefully, women can be strong again. If you want to succeed like Teh Ocha, you have to be mentally strong," concluded Prilly.

The film All Access to Rossa 25 Shining Years will be screened in cinemas throughout Indonesia starting from August 1, 2024. In addition to Prilly Latuconsina, this film also involves other musicians such as Andi Rianto who worked on the film's scoring and Ariel Noah who provided the Original Sound Track (OST) for the film.
