1. Synopsis
This film tells the story of Maya and Dini who work hard to survive in the city. Maya has no family in Jakarta, and Dini's presence is one important thing in her life. Maya and Dini survive in various ways, including doing business. However, failure always follows them. Until one day, Maya received information that there is a possibility that she has a family inheritance in her hometown.
Armed with that information, Maya and Dini went to the village where their family used to live. Upon arriving in the village, Maya and Dini arrived at a large empty house. The surrounding situation also looks strange, one of which is many children's graves. Until one night, Maya heard the screams of a woman who was about to give birth. Maya went to the source of the sound and witnessed the birth process of the child. From there, little by little, the mystery of the village where Maya and Dini now live begins to unfold.
2. Use the Original Shooting Location
The shooting location in the film turned out to be the original location. The large house in the PEREMPUAN TANAH JAHANAM film is actually an old house that has not been inhabited for 30 years. With a house filled with crawling trees, it feels very suitable for the story.
