Several popular songs by Didi Kempot were adapted into stories in the film SOBAT AMBYAR. The screenplay for this film, produced by Magma Entertainment, Rapi Films, and Paragon Pictures, was written by Charles Gozali, who also served as the screenwriter.

Didi Kempot revealed that acting in a film is not an easy job. However, since he agreed to be involved, he learned many new things.
