To Improve Quality, Prilly Latuconsina Says PARFI 56 Will Provide Special Training for Indonesian Actors

Kapanlagi.com - Prilly Latuconsina, as the Deputy Chairman of the Indonesian Film Artists Association (PARFI) 56, said that the organization will equip actors with various training and capacity development to improve their quality in their work. With this training, it is hoped that it can enhance the competitiveness of actors so that their abilities are truly honed and can be noticed by the industry, which currently only focuses on the digital assets of actors.

Not only that, Prilly also believes that currently the selection of actors is often based on popularity and the number of followers on social media, not acting ability. Because of this tendency, PARFI 56 believes that capacity enhancement training is needed so that actors who have already honed their talents can finally have the same opportunity to appear on the big screen.

"PARFI wants to focus on acting training, so that all actors have equal opportunities, not just based on digital assets," said Prilly Latuconsina during the celebration of National Film Day titled 'Resilient Actors, Growing Industry' in SCBD area, Central Jakarta, on Saturday (30/3).

Prilly herself takes herself as an example who is currently a behind-the-scenes person who initiates the establishment of Sinemaku production house. This step is proof that an actor is also capable of creating new job opportunities for fellow filmmakers.

Therefore, she certainly hopes that actors who participate in the training for business development or digital asset management from PARFI can follow suit.

"So, we at PARFI also focus on training like that, so that new actors in particular can have equal opportunities," she said.

"They can also learn how to develop their digital assets so that it can become a good personal branding for them as actors and can also become an entrepreneur," she concluded.
