Without Vanesha Prescilla, Director Rako Prijanto Reveals Challenges in '#TEMANTAPIMENIKAH 2'

Kapanlagi.com - Two years after the success of #TEMANTAPIMENIKAH which managed to collect 1.6 million viewers, Falcon Pictures production house is ready to release #TEMANTAPIMENIKAH 2. In the first film, the female lead was played by Vanesha Prescilla, but in the sequel, there is a change with Mawar De Jongh.

When asked about the change from Vanesha to Mawar, Rako Prijanto refused to explain in too much detail because the right to answer lies with the producers.

"What is certain is that the question from friends is about the change from Vanesha to Mawar. That is the decision of Falcon Pictures. For more details, you can ask the producers or Vanesha herself. I don't dare to answer," said Rako during the launch of the trailer and poster for #TEMANTAPIMENIKAH 2 at the Falcon Pictures office, Duren Tiga area, South Jakarta, Monday (20/1/2020).

1. Challenges Without Vanesha Prescilla

Considering the change of the main actress, it certainly poses a challenge for Rako Prijanto as the director. However, on the other hand, it is also considered to have a positive value.

"The first time I was told that Vanessa couldn't join, it became a challenge for me because there will definitely be differences no matter who the actor is. But those differences became a positive value in this film, for example, maybe it won't be boring because the actors are new," explained Rako.

2. Pregnancy Notes

Rako also helps Mawar De Jongh to be able to immerse herself in portraying the character of Ayudia Bing Slamet from many aspects. One of them is by providing notes about being pregnant.

"What's certain is that we give Mawar a refreshing memory about what happened in the first film and Mawar has also watched the film. I also made a few notes for Mawar about the psychological aspects of a pregnant person and how it affects her psychology. How the changes in behavior from uncomfortable walking, feelings of fear, etc.," he added.
