After helping defeat Thanos with The Avengers in Endgame, Scott Lang gets a second chance at a different life. He feels lucky to be able to live with his beloved daughter, Cassie Lang, and wants to focus on being a father and making up for the five years he lost in the Quantum Realm. Not only him, but his daughter Cassie has also changed and grown into a young woman with her own ambitions.

Cassie learns a lot about the Quantum Realm and, together with Hope and Hank, creates satellite technology that can send signals to the Quantum world. Although Scott is very proud of Cassie, this technology causes panic for Janet van Dyne, Hope's mother, who was once trapped in the Quantum Realm for 30 years. Before she can reveal the big secret she experienced, they are thrown into the Quantum Realm through this technology.
