The 82nd Venice Film Festival is back in the spotlight of the film world, this time with the presence of the cast of THE WIZARD OF THE KREMLIN. The film directed by Olivier Assayas is adapted from the bestselling novel by Giuliano da Empoli, telling the story of the birth of Russia under the leadership of Vladimir Putin.

A lineup of top actors such as Jude Law, Paul Dano, Alicia Vikander, as well as Will Keen and Tom Sturridge appeared stylishly on the red carpet. Their presence further heightened public enthusiasm for the film, which is also scheduled to screen at the Busan International Film Festival (BIFF).

Tom Sturridge looked charming on the red carpet of the 2025 Venice Film Festival, wearing a black tuxedo complete with his signature sunglasses.

Will Keen also appeared elegantly in his black suit. In this film, he plays Boris Berezovsky, the oligarch who played a crucial role in Putin's rise to power.

Paul Dano as Vadim Baranov exuded authority. The character Vadim Baranov is a fictional character inspired by Putin's advisor, Vladislav Surkov.

Meanwhile, Alicia Vikander, who will play Vadim Baranov's lover, stole the spotlight during the photocall in a knee-length blue dress, with her hair styled simply and a bright smile.

On the red carpet, Alicia transformed into a charm in a long navy dress with her hair flowing naturally, exuding an elegant charm.

Oliver Assayas also attended the photocall session. The director appeared casual in a blue shirt and relaxed yet stylish cream pants.

Unlike on the red carpet, Oliver chose a black tuxedo and black tie, paired with brown glasses that have become his trademark.

According to au.variety.com, Oliver Assayas stated that this film is not only about the birth of contemporary Russia but also the birth of the modern world as we know it today.

Jude Law caught attention with a fun expression on the red carpet, posing with two fingers while dressed in a white shirt and black tie. Jude Law will portray a calm and composed version of Vladimir Putin, far from the authoritarian figure that many people imagine.
