Kapanlagi.com - September 2021 might be the month awaited by Marvel fans. Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) finally released its latest film after its last blockbuster, BLACK WIDOW.
SHANG-CHI AND THE LEGEND OF THE TEN RINGS, directed by Destin Daniel Cretton and written by Dave Callaham—the writer of ZOMBIELAND: DOUBLE TAP (2019), is a historic moment for the MCU. Why? This film is the first MCU film where the main actor—Simu Liu, is of Asian descent.
Aside from the main cast, the other cast members and the soundtrack are also dominated by Asians. Marvel Music-Hollywood Records and Interscope Records, along with 88Rising, collaborated on the production of this film's soundtrack.

The owner of the real name Brian Imanuel Soewarno began to be known to the public through his first single titled Dat $tick in 2016. Seeing the great talent in him, Brian was then signed by 88Rising in 2017.
Shortly after that, he released his first album, AMEN, in 2018. It contains 12 songs, and 88Rising went all out to promote AMEN. They even put up Brian's posters in Times Square, United States. Brian himself participated in 5 songs in the film SHANG-CHI, namely in the songs Always Rising, Lazy Susan, Foolish, Act Up, and Run It.

Zion.T is a South Korean male solo singer under the management of The Black Label, a subsidiary of YG Entertainment. Zion.T is known as a singer with R&B and Hip Hop genres.
The artist, famous for the single Yanghwa BRDG, first appeared in collaboration with hip hop artist Dok2 in Click Me in 2011. His real name is Kim Hae Sol, and he collaborated with Gen Hoshino for Nomad in the film SHANG-CHI.

KLovers, are there any K-hip hop fans here? If yes, you must be familiar with these two handsome figures. IAN and LIVE are South Korean rappers who are part of a group called Dream Perfect Regime (DPR).
After the disbandment of C-Clown, IAN, along with LIVE and other members, formed the group DPR. After becoming part of DPR, IAN and LIVE often participate in other musicians' projects such as Mino WINNER and Jae DAY6. For this Marvel soundtrack, they collaborated on Diamonds + And Pearls with Peace.

Keshi's talent as a singer and songwriter is unquestionable. Keshi often creates songs with a lofi hip-hop vibe and smooth R&B vocals. The real name of this artist is Casey Luong, and he started focusing on music in 2017.
His songs Like I Need You and 2 Soon have won the hearts of millions of listeners on Spotify. Keshi was also recognized as the soundtrack artist for the film SHANG-CHI for the song War With Heaven after he uploaded the track on his YouTube channel.

It seems like KLovers are already familiar with this name, right? Yup, he is Mark Tuan. He gained widespread recognition after joining as one of the members of GOT7, a boy group formed by JYP Entertainment. Mark is from Los Angeles, California.
In addition to his captivating visuals, Mark Tuan often showcases his dancing, singing, and rapping skills. In the film SHANG-CHI, he will duet with BIBI, a singer from South Korea.

Nicole Zefanya, or better known by the name NIKI, is a singer, songwriter, and producer from Indonesia. She started by auditioning to be the opening singer at Taylor Swift's Red Tour 2014 concert, and NIKI has since been making many song covers on her YouTube channel.
After joining Rich Brian and Stephanie Poetri's agency, 88Rising, NIKI finally released her mini album, ZEPHYR, in 2018. As for the SHANG-CHI film project, she is responsible for the songs Every Summertime, Swan Song (ft. Saweetie), and Clocked Out! (ft. Audrey Nuna).
