In a 2012 report after their divorce, A revealed that Jung Joon Il and she met in 2006 and started a relationship. From late 2009 to mid-2010, A found out that Jung Joon Il often met another woman, Jung Eun Chae, even though they were already together. A and Jung Joon Il then got married in 2011 after the singer promised not to repeat his actions.

Unfortunately, according to A's confession, Jung Joon Il continued to meet Jung Eun Chae even after they were married. A felt compelled to reveal this story because Jung Joon Il instead suggested divorce instead of apologizing for his actions.

In an interview with Wikitree (17/4), Jung Joon Il's agency MYMusic Entertainment stated that 'Jung Eun Chae definitely knew that Jung Joon Il was already married' when this cheating scandal resurfaced.

"When she was involved in a romantic relationship with Jung Joon Il, Jung Eun Chae definitely knew about his marital status. It doesn't make sense if she didn't know about Jung Joon Il's wife. Currently, Jung Joon Il seems to be deliberately hiding his marital status and deceiving Jung Eun Chae to date him. This is completely untrue but he is being heavily criticized," said MYMusic Entertainment as reported by Koreaboo.

Meanwhile, Jung Eun Chae's agency KeyEast Entertainment also responded to the issue involving their actress.

"This is a personal matter that ended ten years ago. It's very regrettable that a personal matter is being publicized like this," said KeyEast Entertainment.
