After 9 years, Eren finally has the opportunity to duet again with Andika Mahesa. They collaborated and recently released the single Ay which stands for ayang. It tells the story of a couple who often argue even though they love each other.
"Ay is the answer after nine years of not dueting with Eren Hill. I really miss sister Eren," said Andika in a press release received by KapanLagi.com.

This song was created by Tama Wijaya, who is the guitarist of Kangen Band. After some investigation, it turns out that this song has been created by Tama based on Andika's own true story.
"Ay is a song that I intentionally created a long time ago for Andika but could only be performed by him now. In my opinion, Andika's distinctive voice is not easily separated from the combination of Eren's voice, his duet partner in Kangen Band at that time. Actually, the song tells Andika's story.
This collaboration is a nostalgic moment for both Andika and Eren. Moreover, they decided to shoot the music video in Lampung, their hometown. During the glory days of Kangen Band, they had become an iconic duo that couldn't be separated.
"The Ay project with Tama was produced in Bandar Lampung, our hometown, so we took the opportunity to relieve nostalgia in our hometown. Hopefully, it will be accepted by the community, especially those who miss the combination of Andika and Eren's voices," concluded Andika.
