They will perform the song Rain On Me for the first time, after the song was officially released on May 23rd.
"Rain On Me with @ladygaga live from the #vmas stage on August 30th on @MTV" she wrote in her personal Twitter caption. Ariana also added a background of dark clouds there. After that, Lady Gaga also retweeted Ariana Grande's tweet, adding fairy and thunderstorm emojis. She also shared information about their duet on her Instagram story, writing that she can't wait to perform her latest hit with Ariana.
Lady Gaga will be making her first appearance at the MTV MVA this year since 2013. At that time, she performed the song Applause from her album ARTPOP. Meanwhile, Ariana herself last performed at the MVA in 2018, singing her solo song God Is A Woman. This epic duet has also been confirmed by MTV VMA through their official Twitter.
