Kapanlagi.com - Good news for music fans! Babyface, the legendary musician and 13-time Grammy Award winner, will hold a concert in Jakarta on October 25, 2025. This concert was originally scheduled for July 12, 2025, but has been postponed due to adjustments in the Asia tour schedule.
The concert titled 'Babyface Live in Jakarta 2025' will take place at Beach City International Stadium, Ancol, Jakarta. This will mark Babyface's comeback to Indonesia after 15 years. In an interview with KapanLagi.com, the singer and music producer expressed how special Indonesia is, leading him to decide to return here.
"I am very excited to come back here. It has been such a long time, I didn't even realize it had been that long. So, I can't wait. Indonesia has always been special to me because of their great appreciation for R&B music. And the music created in Indonesia is very soulful and deeply rooted in R&B. So it feels natural to be a part of this," Babyface said in an exclusive interview with KapanLagi.com on Tuesday (15/7/2025).
In his upcoming concert, Babyface will also feature a series of special collaborations with four renowned Indonesian singers, namely Raisa, Marcell Siahaan, Rio Febrian, and Sammy Simorangkir. One thing is for sure, he will invite fans to reminisce about the times of falling in love in the 90s.
"In my opinion, the most important thing is that this is about a journey back to 90s music. And that will make everyone feel happy. And remind us of the times when we loved someone, when we fell in love. And the show we are doing is filled with spirit. And this will definitely be a lot of fun. So, I think it will be something worth looking forward to," added the man named Kenneth Brian Edmonds.
The ticket prices for Babyface's concert in Jakarta vary as follows:
The prices do not include a 10% tax and a 5% admin fee. Concert tickets can be purchased through the official website www.babyfacejakarta.com or the Tiket.com app. For those who have already purchased tickets for the previous date, those tickets remain valid for the new schedule.
Don't forget, Babyface also conveyed his message to the fans in Indonesia ahead of his concert later.
"I am very much looking forward to coming there (Indonesia) because it has been a long time. And I think we will enjoy a wonderful time together. And it will be a magical night to reminisce together. And experience that again. I think it has been a long time since I was there. The last time I was there was about 15 years ago. I came once with David Foster, but it wasn't my full concert. So, I am looking forward to performing with my band. I have a great band. So, it will be really cool," concluded Babyface.
So, mark the date well: 'Babyface Live in Jakarta 2025' will take place at Beach City International Stadium, Ancol, Jakarta on October 25, 2025. Don't miss out on the tickets!
