Bandung Becomes the Opening City for the SAMA SAMA Tour

Kapanlagi.com - The SAMA SAMA Tour presents five Indonesian musicians: Dere, Idgitaf, Kunto Aji, Sal Priadi, and Tulus, who will kick off their debut performance at the Eldorado Dome, Bandung, on May 4, 2025. After going through a long creative process, from workshops to intensive rehearsals, these five musicians are ready to deliver a special collaborative performance, blending the uniqueness of their musical styles and the strength of their lyrics on one stage.

Bandung was chosen as the starting point for a reason. This city is known as the birthplace of many creative ideas and has a warm audience base that is enthusiastic about experimental music performances.

Tulus expressed his excitement about the opportunity to sing in Bandung. According to him, the appreciation from the Bandung audience is very valuable, and all the musicians are eager to kick off the SAMA SAMA Tour in Bandung. Dere also added his hope that all the audience can have fun together in this opening city of the SAMA SAMA Tour.

The SAMA SAMA Tour is designed as an exploration stage; not only presenting popular songs from the five musicians but also showcasing their other sides in a format that has never been seen before, ranging from solo, duet, to a quintet performance full of surprises. The show opens with a medley that features works from each musician. This section is intended as a “gateway” for the audience into the exploratory numbers in the following songs in various formats.

As it approaches the climax, the atmosphere becomes increasingly emotional. Nuya and Farras, the Creative Directors of the SAMA SAMA Tour, convey that the audience will be taken on a journey through the discography, featuring various new formats of songs, collaborations, and special mashup compositions that can only be witnessed at the SAMA SAMA Tour. The hope is that everyone feels like they are returning home with full hearts.

Bandung is the first city to experience the special offerings from the entire concept of the SAMA SAMA Tour. All experiments, stage dynamics, and surprising elements will be presented for the first time to the audience in this city. After Bandung, the tour will continue to Surabaya on May 11, 2025, at Jatim Expo, then to Yogyakarta on May 17, 2025, at Grand Pacific, and will conclude in Bogor on May 24, 2025, at the Sentul International Convention Center (SICC).
