Buluk Supeglad Produces a Music Talkshow Program Titled 'In & Out'

Kapanlagi.com - One of the icons of Indonesian punk rock, Lukman Laksmana or commonly known as Buluk Superglad, has apparently ventured into a new profession as a producer in a music program. The vocalist of the band Superglad has been entrusted by Guet Entertainment label to create the concept of a talk show program with Indonesian musicians.

The program called In & Out is believed to be a platform for musicians to promote their works. Buluk will invite musicians from various generations and genres as his guests, such as the latest one, Ello.

"Actually, I want to have a music concept with a different segment, in the sense that In and Out takes segments A and B with classic music, but it is not impossible for all genres to perform here. Yesterday, Ardhito Pramono was already tapping, and today we have Ello, yesterday we had Tan Ayu. The concept is that I want to show visually pleasing content with my personal ideals. When we watch TV shows, the faces should be clear, but here, we want to have dark themes or silhouettes, and also have a talk show about the musician's personal life," explained Buluk when met at Guet Studio, Pancoran, South Jakarta recently.

Buluk also explained the exclusive segment that distinguishes In & Out from other music programs, "I create a distinctive feature in In and Out where we ask all the guests who they want to give thanks to. Because for me, when I used to buy cassettes or any physical items, other musicians had thanks to credits." Usually thanks to is the person behind the scenes who contributes to the musician.".

1. Youtube Makes Everything Easier

Following the digital era, the program In & Out will be broadcasted on the Youtube platform. Buluk hopes that this show he is working on can be an entertainer for music lovers who have to stay at home during the pandemic.

"I want it to be broadcasted on YouTube with various image qualities, so this show can still be enjoyed. This is the concept that I created with Guet Entertaiment because it will become a YouTube TV, and in the future, there will be many more programs, but for now, the one being launched is music from In And Out. In times like this when we can't go anywhere, I want to provide entertainment for people through this YouTube show," he explained further.

As is known, in the past, copyright regulations and royalty distribution in the music industry were quite complicated and strict. Therefore, Buluk is very grateful for the existence of the Youtube platform that makes everything easier.

"Because YouTube's adsense is clear, so we don't need permission from anyone when the video is uploaded with adsense, it automatically goes to the publisher, Ello. In the past, we had to divide the percentage of royalties, but now, when we release Ello's material, the adsense will be deducted.

The program In & Out is scheduled to premiere on September 1, 2021. Who will be the guest star making their debut here? Let's wait and see.
