Young Singer and Producer Jinan Laetitia launches 'Forgive', Debut Single as a Major Label Artist

For Jinan, the single Forgive is set as a reflection of her personal journey. Jinan speaks very personally through her lyrics. "Forgive is a very personal song, considering all the processes, from writing to production, were done by me," explained Jinan.

"I remember (when) writing the first verse, 'Only love what you do when you do it well', with one of the instrumental tracks on my laptop after a long daydreaming session, then the rest of the song 'Forgive' flowed out of my mind," he added.

In its creation, the lyrics of Forgive were indeed written in English. Throughout his career as a musician, Jinan has received appreciation not only from listeners in the homeland, but also from other Asian regions such as Singapore, Taiwan, and Hong Kong.

In addition, Jinan also has listeners in the United States. With the English-language composition, Forgive as a work and Jinan as a musician, are ready to go global in the streaming era.

Regarding the recording process, Forgive became Jinan's debut single where he gained new experiences.

"The vocal recording of Forgive is my first experience working in a professional studio, because previously I did all the production processes within the four walls of my room. But I am happy to see the music I wrote grow so quickly," he explained.

"I wrote the arrangement of 'Forgive' with the intention of telling a story. I hope listeners can enjoy the atmosphere that I build in its melodies, walk through the story sung in 'Forgive', and feel all the emotions it gives," explained Jinan.
