Collaborating with K-pop Idol, Addie MS and Twilite Orchestra Present Video Game Concert Volume II

Kapanlagi.com - Renowned composer Addie MS along with Twilite Orchestra is set to hold Video Game Concert Volume II on February 22, 2025, at Tennis Indoor, Senayan, Jakarta. This concert is a continuation of the success of the first edition held previously.

This year, Addie collaborates with the South Korean vocal group, Kandis, to add a new color to the concert. Addie MS explained the reason for collaborating with Kandis as a partner. He admitted that he has never limited his choices in determining collaborators for his concerts.

"Actually, I personally always open myself to work with anyone, senior or junior artists, there is always something interesting," explained Addie MS in the SCBD area, South Jakarta, Thursday (1/9/2025).

Addie MS added that the process of selecting collaborators for this concert is quite complex. He emphasized that the decision is the result of discussions with the production team and the musicians.

"But each concert has its own needs, when we want this, oh the schedule doesn't fit, so it's complex and that's not solely my decision as a performer, often every orchestral performance is definitely a combination of the aspirations of the musicians and the supporting team, so it's a joint decision," he explained.

Meanwhile, Kandis personnel, Hello expressed his enthusiasm to perform with Twilite Orchestra. His first experience performing with this orchestra concept is considered very impressive, especially with the video game theme being carried out.

"I really like orchestras even though this is my first orchestra, but I really enjoyed the process," said Hello.

Not only Kandis, but Addie MS also involved his son, Kevin Aprilio in this concert. The frontman of the band Vierratale was once again appointed as the pianist after successfully performing at the first Video Game Concert.

2. Optimistic for Another Success

Kevin is optimistic that this concert will be as successful as the previous one. He hopes that a larger and more festive concept can provide maximum entertainment for the audience.

"For the first video game concert, I was very happy, that's why there's a second one, hopefully this one can entertain even more," said Kevin.

Kevin also revealed that there will be several new songs played in this concert. However, he intentionally did not share the song details to surprise the fans.

"There are several new song lists. Basically, the venue is also larger, every song should make everyone happier," he said.

3. Music and Song Quality

Meanwhile, the President Commissioner of TipTip and Advisor of East Ventures, Triawan Munaf, also expressed his enthusiasm for this concert. He praised Addie MS and Twilite Orchestra for being able to present a concept that is relevant to youth trends.

"We are truly fortunate that there are materials that have actually resonated with many people. We just need to realize it in a quality way," said Triawan.

According to Triawan, the uniqueness of this concert lies in the musical quality of the selected video game songs. He mentioned that the song materials were very thoughtfully considered.

"Even though they play not because of the songs, but it sticks, you know, and coincidentally the songs in video games to this day are of very high quality, that has been thought out a lot," he concluded.
