Cyelliaa Saputra Gives a Sneak Peek of her New Album, Collaborating with Dide Hijau Daun

Kapanlagi.com - Young singer Cyelliaa Saputra is currently preparing her latest album together with Hijau Daun's vocalist, Dide Irawan. Dide is not only a mentor, but also a songwriter for the 18-year-old girl's songs.

Recently, Cya, Cyelliaa's nickname, revealed some details about her latest project. She disclosed that one of the songs in her album will have a Korean-style acoustic concept. Her love for all things Korean has made her more excited to work on the song.

"I want it to be like that but I don't want to change myself like him (Korean artist). I want to do it my own way," said Cya, when met at KBL Studio, Kalideres, West Jakarta, on Monday (6/7) yesterday.

1. End of 2020 Release

If there are no obstacles, the album, whose name is still kept secret, will be released at the end of 2020. Continuing to work actively amidst the pandemic, Cya and Dide are now speeding up the production of the album and hope to finish it by August.

The songs in their new album will have a contemporary feel and will be adjusted to Cya's mature vocal character. She also acknowledges that her growth as a singer is also influenced by Dide's role as a coach.

During that occasion, Cya and Dide also reminisced about the time they first met. It happened about 3 years ago, and Cya's vocal character was very different back then compared to now.

"It was quite a surprise. There was a difference. Her vocal range has improved and matured. I thought about it, because we hadn't communicated for a long time, so we ended up creating this new song project. But, we can't reveal it yet," said Dide.

"At first, when I was offered to recycle (Suara Hijau Daun), I was really shocked. She considered me her little sibling. She can create and maintain my mood. She also directed me from the very beginning and made me feel comfortable performing. Including when dealing with stage fright," concluded Cya.
