Universal Music Indonesia Singer and Def Jam Indonesia Unite "Bring Peace to the World"

The song "Bring Peace to the World" was created by the best singer and songwriter, Nadya Fatira. Interestingly, the song is sung by all 25 singers who are members of Universal Music Indonesia and Def Jam Indonesia.

"Basically, the song is about strengthening each other, inspiring, and convincing that we can all overcome any obstacles, especially in this pandemic," said Nadya Fatira, on Friday (10/7/2020).

What is special about this song is that the message is not only intended for fellow artists, musicians, or art workers. However, it is for all Indonesian people to rise, stay spirited, and continue to create.

"But the point of view is from musicians to their listeners, that's why there are words like 'we bring cheerfulness and peace to the world with beautiful rhythm,' so it can be said that this is a dedication from us in the music world to everyone," said Nadya.

The single "Damaikan Dunia" shows the power and beauty of differences by combining the various strengths of the artists involved. The musical signature and vocal character of each artist are clearly heard but packaged with a cheerful pop music arrangement that harmonizes.

2. Considered Fun and Enjoyable

The process of creating the song "Damaikan Dunia" was considered very fun and enjoyable. The limitations during this pandemic created challenges and difficulties in the recording process.

"So not all of the singers recorded at my place, some recorded at their own homes. The farthest one was Keisya Levronka recording in Malang, so I sent my friend who lives in Malang to take her vocal part, and I directed her via video call from Jakarta. Besides that, because the recordings were done with different types of microphones and in different rooms, it was a bit confusing to mix them to have a consistent sound color, hahaha," Nadya concluded.
