After 11 long years, Project Pop finally officially released their latest work in the form of an album titled '2856'. This album contains 11 songs that are remakes and collaborations with famous artists and musicians such as Nagita Slavina and Inul Daratista.

However, it turns out that the album 2856 has a different meaning for Project Pop. Apparently, 2856 means 28 years, 5 bodies, and 6 souls, as in 2017 Project Pop lost one of their members, Oon, who passed away.

"We used to be seven, but one resigned, so now there are only six of us," said Odi when met in the Kebayoran Baru area, South Jakarta, on Friday afternoon (28/6).

"In 2017, one of our members passed away, so now there are only five of us physically, but spiritually we are still six," he continued.

On the same occasion, Uji explained that he and his four colleagues chose one song to be included in this album. Where the song had the involvement of the late Oon as the creator.

"Actually, there is a song that is rarely heard by people but we chose to include it in this album," said Ujo.

"This is the only work by Oon, so we dedicate this one song to fill this album," he added.

In addition, Tika Pangabean also said that this album is also a tribute to the late Oon. Therefore, they carry the theme of this album 2856, which is five physical bodies and six souls.

"We want this album to be a tribute to the late Oon and his family, so the song is remade, that's why it became five body six soul," Tika concluded.
