Starting from Ari Lasso, Virzha, to Ello, they are ready to take turns performing the legendary hits of Dewa 19. Interestingly, the presence of their iconic former drummer, Tyo Nugros, is a non-negotiable requirement for the fans there.

"Dewa 19 will hold a concert in Kuala Lumpur. The date has been set, and fortunately, everyone can make it: Ari Lasso, Virzha, Ello, and the request from Malaysian fans is that Tyo Nugros must be there," said Ahmad Dhani when met in the Kemang area, South Jakarta, on Sunday (22/2/2026).

Iman Tang, the CEO of Icon Entertainment, explained that the concert date was intentionally chosen to match a beautiful number for easy recall. The enthusiasm of the fans has exploded, especially due to their longing to see Tyo Nugros back on the drums.

"Actually, the date is set for 06-06-2026. So this is for fans who miss Dewa. There are fans who requested a dash cam on Tyo's drums," added Iman Tang.

3. Tyo's Reaction to Performing in Malaysia

Responding to the high public attention in Malaysia, Tyo Nugros reacted casually yet positively. The man who remains youthful at the age of 55 admitted that he always enjoys the moment of performing in Kuala Lumpur because of the amazing atmosphere of the audience.

"It's just fun to play there. Whenever I perform in Kuala Lumpur, there's always something exciting, it's great," said Tyo Nugros.

4. Partnering with Padi Reborn

The surprises didn't stop there, Dewa 19 also partnered with Padi Reborn as a special guest star. Iman Tang believes that this band from Surabaya has a large fan base and hit songs that are very fitting to complement the excitement of the concert.

"Because there are also many fans. And their songs are hits. So I think the choice of Padi is fitting for the concert 'Cintaku Tertinggal di Malaysia'," explained the promoter.

The involvement of Padi Reborn sparked wild ideas in Ahmad Dhani's mind. The frontman of Dewa 19 even leaked the possibility of a cross collaboration or song exchange between the two giant bands on stage later.

"Who knows, Padi and Dewa could collaborate. So Dewa 19 sings Padi's song and Padi performs Dewa 19's song. If I dig deeper, the song 'Sesuatu Yang Indah', if I dig deeper it becomes 'Sesuatu yang Lebih Indah'," joked Dhani confidently.

7. Consider Malaysia as a Second Home

For Dhani and the other personnel, Malaysia is already considered a second home. Guitarist Andra Ramadhan also admits that the neighboring country holds many sweet memories that make them always feel at home there.

"Many memories. Malaysia always feels like home to us. I usually don't stay for a short time when I go there," concluded Andra.
