Eltasya Displays Emotional Side Through Remake of Song 'Harus Terpisah'

Young singer Eltasya once again shows her sensitivity in music through her latest single titled Harus Terpisah. This song is a remake of the hit track by Cakra Khan that became popular in the early 2010s and still resonates in the hearts of many listeners today.

Under the banner of Sony Music Entertainment Indonesia, Eltasya presents a fresh new version while maintaining the emotional strength of the original song. The woman, whose full name is Eltasya Dwi Meilina, states that Harus Terpisah is not just a song about the end of a relationship, but a reflection of a true story of love that is no longer in sync.

"The meaning of this song is about the journey of a long-established relationship, where only one party is fighting until they ultimately have to choose to separate," said Eltasya while sharing the meaning behind the song.

Eltasya admitted that she was interested in covering this song because its message resonates closely with the experiences of many people. She wants to convey that story again from her own perspective, with a softer yet still touching nuance.

Although I don't have personal experience like that depicted in the lyrics, Eltasya tries to bring the emotions to life in every stanza.

"I try to place myself as if I were in that position, so I can truly convey the feelings from the lyrics and melody," she said.

Of all the lyrics, the part that touches Eltasya the most is 'I try to reach for dreams, you try to stop the dreams.' According to her, this line depicts the imbalance in a relationship when only one party still wants to fight. Reinterpreting a song that is already popular is not an easy task.

"Because this song has existed before and is incredibly good, the challenge is how I can perform it with my own version and character," she explained.

With a gentle yet emotionally strong interpretation, Eltasya hopes that her listeners can feel the sincerity she pours into every note. "I hope through this song people can get to know me better and also fall in love with my version of Harus Terpisah," she concluded.
