Following in the Footsteps of Kangen Band, Lampung Music Group D'Reunion Releases Single 'Ternyata Dia'

Kapanlagi.com - There are many music groups from Lampung that have achieved success nationally and even internationally. There are several band names that are already familiar to the public, such as Kangen Band, Hijau Daun, and The Potters.

Apparently, the success of Lampung-based bands does not stop there. Now, there is another band that is gaining popularity in the Indonesian music industry, namely D'Reunion.

Consisting of Ryan (vocals), Fandi (guitar), Wahyu (guitar), Lingga (bass), Iyal (drums), Putera (keyboard), and Boy (vocals), D'Reunion has just released a new single titled Ternyata Dia.

"Well, if my personal dream as a producer in D'Reunion, it's not just being an artist. But our songs can be enjoyed and accepted by the public. As for being an artist and others, that's a bonus," said Ryan at Studio PO, South Jakarta, Monday (14/2/2022).

Actually, the D'Reunion personnel themselves have been involved in the Indonesian music industry for a long time. Each member has formed a band group in 2006. However, in 2019 they decided to take a break from the band due to their respective busyness.

"In 2009, we decided to take a break from the music world, we focused on work and other things. Until finally in 2020, we tried to create a new formation, merging two bands into one. Let's have a reunion, called D'Reunion. We create a work for a single titled 'Ternyata Dia', I am the songwriter," he said.

2. Amidst the Pandemic

It can be said that the presence of D'Reunion is quite surprising to the public, especially Indonesian music lovers. How could they appear in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic, considering all the difficult circumstances.

"Our involvement in music is not only because of the pandemic. We have artistic souls, we have works that we cannot stop because of the pandemic. We have strategies, we have stamina, we have the ingredients that must keep going. In fact, the pandemic unites us all," said Ryan.

3. Turns Out It's Him

Present in the Indonesian music industry, D'Reunion presents a song titled Turns Out It's Him. The song, written by the vocalist, was released in December 2021.

"So finally we launched it in December 2021 in Lampung. We started promoting it in the capital city," said Ryan.
