Kapanlagi.com - Jasmine Nadya, who received positive responses for her first single Butterflies, now releases her second song titled Favorite Art. This song is still her own creation and entirely in English.
The inspiration for this song came when Jasmine visited an art museum and felt admiration for someone like admiring a piece of art.
"Art is something precious and sometimes difficult to reach for us, so all we can do is admire it from afar," said Jasmine.
"It's like that when we like someone who is unattainable, we can only gaze and express admiration from a distance," she added.

Initially, Favorite Art was planned to be the first single, but due to certain changes, it was eventually decided to become the second song. Jasmine is grateful to be able to collaborate with Sony Music and Mikha Angelo as producers in working on this song.
"It's not easy, but thanks to the help of the Sony Music team and also Mikha, we managed to face it all well and are ready to present this song to the listeners," said Jasmine.
Although there were changes in the song's structure, arrangement, and lyrics that took quite a long time, the end result is very satisfying. The process of working on this song, from workshop, recording, to mastering, took four months.
Jasmine also faced challenges in maintaining breath stability and dynamics while singing this song, but thanks to the production team's assistance, everything was successfully overcome.
"Perhaps, the challenge in this song is maintaining breath stability, creating good dynamics while singing it, and still maintaining the conveyed emotion from the lyrics," she said.
The song Favorite Art explores the theme of admiring someone from afar, which many people can relate to. Jasmine hopes that this song will receive a positive response like her debut single and become an inspiration for listeners.
"I hope that those who listen to this song feel that it represents what they are currently feeling and that they have a friend who is going through the same thing. Additionally, I hope that the music and lyrics I created for this second song can be enjoyed by many people and inspire anyone," Jasmine concluded.
Jasmine Nadya's second song, Favorite Art, can now be enjoyed on digital music platforms starting April 25, 2024.
