Kapanlagi.com - The stage of the SCTV 36 Xtraordinary Anniversary celebration recently witnessed a special collaboration between Indonesian music legend, Iwan Fals, and talented young singer, Felicia. Their duet in the song "Ibu" successfully captured the audience's attention thanks to their stunning vocal harmonization.
Iwan Fals acknowledged Felicia's singing ability, who is fondly called Cia, despite being only 14 years old. This living legend of Indonesian music expressed his admiration for Felicia's pitch control and emotional interpretation of the lyrics.
"Wow, Cia is amazing. At just 14 years old, her control is great, her pitch is good, her interpretation is excellent, she sings with heart," said Iwan Fals when met at Emtek City Studio, Daan Mogot, West Jakarta, on Monday (24/8/2026).
Felicia herself felt honored to share the stage with Iwan Fals. She described the experience as something extraordinary and like a dream come true in her music career journey.
"Oh, I am definitely grateful, indescribable feels like I feel so honored to duet with the legend. So, I feel proud and also thankful. It feels like a dream," said Felicia.

Despite the significant age difference, both did not have difficulty building chemistry on stage. Iwan Fals even believes that Felicia has strong self-confidence and is able to maintain her vocal character.
Interestingly, the preparation for the performance did not take long. Both admitted to having only one practice session before performing in front of an audience.
"Once practice!" exclaimed Iwan Fals and Felicia simultaneously.
For Iwan Fals, the age difference is not an obstacle to creating beautiful music. He emphasizes that in the world of music, there is no difference between seniors and juniors because every musician holds the same position.
