Pop Punk Band Close To Breathe Happy and Proud to Open Dewa 19 Concert in Ancol

"Suddenly, CTB's manager informed us to play as the opening act for Dewa 19 in Ancol. We couldn't believe that we could perform on the same stage as Dewa 19," said Guntur.

"Dewa 19 is a legendary band, who doesn't know them. I'm sure there are many bands who want to perform at that event. Thank you CTB for giving us this opportunity," he continued.

Feelings of joy and disbelief still surround Guntur and other band members. The opportunity to perform on such a big stage with Dewa 19 is an extraordinary and mixed experience for them.

"It's an extraordinary and mixed feeling. We're extremely happy and still can't believe that we could perform at that event," he said.

At the concert, Close To Breathe performed a total of eight songs, including their hits like 'Kenangan', 'Remukan Harapan', and 'Takkan Kembali'. Their performance successfully mesmerized the audience and added to the band's spirit to continue creating.

After the concert with Dewa 19, Close To Breathe will perform at Jakarta Fair on June 29, sharing the stage with NDX.

"In Jakarta Fair, we will be on the same stage as NDX. For the next tour, God willing, we will update it on our social media," said Guntur.

Not only successful on the big stage, Close To Breathe is also known for their drummer, Rangga, who has a disability in his hands.

"Rangga's hand is permanently disabled, so when he wants to play the drums, he has to isolate his hands with the drumsticks," said Guntur.

The accident that caused this permanent disability did not stop his spirit to continue making music. Rangga has to isolate his hands with drumsticks every time he performs.

"Yes, I was stressed and depressed at first. But as time went on, I started to feel motivated and passionate about music again. I believe that behind my disability, there must be strengths that I have," said Rangga.
