Kapanlagi.com - The trio of musicians from Malang, Monohero, released a music video last Friday (9/4) for the single December Don't Cry. This single is the ninth track from their latest album titled AWAKE. This music video was directed by Jovian Fraaije, who has been involved in the production of music videos for several musicians such as SORE, TuanTigaBelas, and Slank.
Interestingly, director Jovian Fraaije admitted that he likes this single and was interested in working on its music video.
"Personally, December Don't Cry is my favorite song from the AWAKE album. AWAKE is a conceptual album. Each song in sequence forms a journey. Well, this song is like the emotional peak... The phase where a person finally surrenders and accepts their fate, after continuously running away from it."
It's not surprising that in the music video of 'December Don't Cry', someone portrayed by Monohero's vocalist, Omen Arie, is seen running as if avoiding something. This is in line with the meaning of the song, which was actually released as a single in 2019.
Lyrics like 'The sky gives hope to those who understand it' or 'Submit, submit to desires' seem to affirm that this song is part of the journey of human life with all its ups and downs.

As a music group, Monohero is known for having an all-in-one performance, from music, visuals, and stage acts. It's no wonder that in every new work they present something out of the box.
Just like in the music video 'December Don't Cry', the displayed animation brings the song to life with psychedelic elements and lyrics. To create stunning animations, Monohero and director Jovian Fraaije involved Benigno Adib as the animation director, Dimasngehe as the Director of Photography (DOP) and editor, Aswoood as the animator, and Bayu Rizky as the Aerial specialist.

One day before the release of the music video Desember Jangan Menangis, Monohero held a launching event on April 8th. Instead of holding the event at a cafe or other venue, Omen Arie and his team chose a cinema as their launching venue.
