Release of 'Bahagiaku', Asya Acknowledges Full Support from Hesti Purwadinata and Edo Borne

Kapanlagi.com - The Indonesian music scene is once again colored by a newcomer, this time it's Asya. Asya herself is the daughter of Hesti Purwadinata and Edo Borne. Not playing around, Asya recently released her single Bahagiaku.

"Actually, this Bahagiaku single was inspired by a Korean guy. I'm a big fangirl of Taehyung from BTS. I wrote my own story, and it became Bahagiaku," she explained when met in Pejaten area, Friday (13/10).

She admitted to being inspired by Beyonce. "I like songs with high notes. I like Beyonce, there are many others but one of them is Beyonce," Asya continued.

Furthermore, Asya apparently also felt burdened by the label of being a celebrity's child. However, her mother continued to reassure her.

"First of all, my mom really convinced me to enter this world. Of course, there is pressure because I carry the burden of parents who have already been in the entertainment industry. There are high expectations because being a celebrity's child, you can't avoid that," she said.

After that, Hesti and Edo continued to fully support Asya's choice to enter the entertainment industry.

2. Full Support

"They are very supportive. They gave me the option to choose whether I really want to become a musician. They really support me, come on, you can do it, I was initially down and discouraged but my parents really believed in me that I can make it in this industry. I like to sing karaoke," added Asya.

"As for me, it's called parental support. Training is not easy to enter the entertainment world, especially in the music world where we have no knowledge at all. My support is mostly scolding, scolding in a way like 'come on, practice', being naggy," concluded Edo.
