Set to Appear at Magical Night in New York, d'Masiv Finally Celebrates New Year's Eve in Jakarta

Kapanlagi.com-band d'Masiv finally returns to celebrate the New Year moment in Jakarta. The band known for the single Cinta Ini Membunuhku will be present at Magical Night in New York, held at Hotel Le Meridien, Jakarta, during the transition from 2024 to 2025, along with Laid This Nite.
Rian Ekky Pradipta expressed his happiness to be involved in Magical Night in New York.

After years of performing outside the city during the New Year moment, the members of d'Masiv can finally celebrate with their families.

"d'Masiv usually performs out of town for New Year's, rarely in Jakarta. That's why when we got this offer, we were very happy. We can perform but also be with family," said Rian at Hotel Le Meridien, Central Jakarta, Monday (25/11).

1. New Year Always Performs

D'Masiv has become one of the bands that always performs on New Year's Eve. In fact, last year Rian and the crew played on two stages, during the New Year's Eve and the beginning of the year.

"We always perform on New Year's. Because for a band, New Year's Eve is like a holiday. Even last year we played twice, on New Year's Eve and on the 1st," added Rian.

Meanwhile, Reply as the Sales Marketing Manager of Le Meridien Hotel, revealed the reason they brought Laid This Nite and especially D'Masiv to the Magical Night in New York.

2. Performing Twice in Times Square

As is known, Rian and the crew have performed twice in Times Square, New York in 2022 and 2023. This alignment made Le Meridien invite D'Masiv.

"We know D'Masiv has performed in Times Square, even twice. That is also one reason we invited them to bring back the atmosphere of New York City, especially on New Year's Eve," said Reply.

"We chose the theme Magical Night in New York because New York is famous for Times Square, the place where all eyes are focused during the New Year transition. So we are bringing that concept to Jakarta, with decorations, costumes, and an atmosphere that will feel like Times Square," he concluded.

During the New Year's Eve party, the guests in the Ballroom will also be treated to typical foods found in Times Square New York such as Hot Dogs, Donuts, Popcorn, and various other foods, and there will also be merchandise and entertainment such as photo booths, 360 Photo, Wall of Fame, and you can stick your wishes for the year 2025 on the Wishing Wall just like in New York City.
