Pandemic Due to Covid 19 Virus Doesn't Stop This Band from Continuing to Create
The band Partitunes continues to create amidst the pandemic and hopes that their new single will inspire young musicians.
Kapanlagi.com - Arfa Band proves that the pandemic doesn't hinder their creativity. The band, which has already released 2 singles, doesn't want to waste time to release new works, which are planned to be released on the Indonesian Independence Day on August 17th.
Recently, they did a re-recording or retake of their third single titled Tak Pernah Berubah (Never Change). This was done because the first recording results were not satisfying enough. They also want to provide the best results for the listeners.
"Basically, the song is about betrayal, which never changes. It's about hurting each other. It can be towards a lover, it's universal," said Febi Arfa Band on Saturday (7/8).

The vocalist, Arfa Marqia, has her own challenges in performing the song Tak Pernah Berubah. This is because the 14-year-old girl has never experienced what is described in the song. However, thanks to practice, she is able to overcome the vocal take well.
"I have never experienced the song and never will. So, in order to get into the song, I have to read it again. It's not difficult to do, but for this kind of vocal take, there are some difficult notes. But I can still get the feel of it, just by imagining it, because I haven't experienced it," said Arfa.
Meanwhile, Edi Stinky, who is helping Arfa Band, revealed some information about their new project and strategy. "After this, there will be a religious song. We have prepared it. Currently, we are doing the vocal take. A single can take 3 months or 5 months. But for covers, we have to be more diligent, maybe once a week," he said.
Arfa also takes vocals for their next song. In this project, they will collaborate with Aris Idol. They perform a religious-themed song titled Jalan Lurusmu.
"Initially, Calvin (Arfa's guitarist) was my comrade when we used to perform on trains. But we haven't been in contact for a long time. He contacted me again, inviting me to work on this project. When I listened to it, the song was quite good," said Aris.
For Aris, there are no significant difficulties in this project. He is even fascinated by Arfa's voice. "He has a rare character among singers his age. If he can make a breakthrough, Indonesia will have a new figure," concluded Januarisman, the real name owner.
