Having Experienced Bullying, Kanaya Aisyah Releases the Song 'Stop Bully-Bully' for Indonesian Children

Kapanlagi.com - Child singer Kanaya Aisyah, or commonly known as Kanaya, has just released her latest single titled Stop Bully-Bully. This is not Kanaya's first song during her career in the Indonesian music industry.

Previously, Kanaya has released songs titled Doa Untuk Kedua Orang Tua (Prayer for Both Parents) and Cinta Aku dan Mama (Love Me and Mom), which are collaborations with her beloved mother, Shinta Priwit. Shinta herself is known as a productive musician.

The song Stop Bully-Bully was created by Shinta Priwit as a form of concern for bullying cases in Indonesia. Through the song Stop Bully-Bully, Shinta Priwit wants to convey a message for children as the future generation of Indonesia to stop bullying and start loving each other.

"Bullying cases are increasing and it's serious, it's not only happening among schoolchildren but also experienced by adults. That's why I made the song Stop Bully-Bully so that everyone can stop this uncool bullying behavior," said Kanaya's mother, Shinta Priwit, to reporters on Tuesday (8/3/2021).

It turns out that Kanaya herself has experienced bullying. She admitted that she had been bullied at school. From there, Kanaya immediately told her parents about the incident.

"I think almost every child of his age has experienced it, but the bullying is in the form of verbal rather than physical. When I was in elementary school, I was also a victim of verbal bullying," she said.

"I told my mom, and she supported me, and my dad told me to be fine, Alhamdulillah, and now it has become a song and I sing it hehehe," Kanaya continued.

In the process of making the song Stop Bully-Bully, Kanaya's mother involved musician Rachmat Ady as the music arranger and Andre Mesa as the sound arranger. Kanaya is happy to release a song that has such a deep message, especially for children in Indonesia.

"Kanaya's hope is that the song Stop Bully-Bully can inspire Indonesian children to stop bullying each other, so that Indonesian children can be happy and cheerful," Kanaya concluded.
