Spicing up the Music Industry, Duo Charita Utami & Yudhistira Mirza Release Single After Aging

Kapanlagi.com - After being active in their respective music projects for a long time, finally Charita Utami and Yudhistira Mirza are back to spice up the Indonesian music industry as a duo. Their meeting actually started in 2015. Starting with recording several songs, their meeting continued with the release of a mini album titled DETAK in 2018.

This year, Charita Utami and Yudhistira Mirza are preparing new materials for their upcoming EP. As an opener, a catchy single titled Usai Usia was released. Judging from the theme, this song tries to depict the relationship between human beings. For example, the connection between humans and the universe, as well as the relationship between humans and the Creator.

Furthermore, Charita Utami and Yudhistira Mirza tell the story of their struggle as human beings to find the purpose of life. At their lowest point, they finally meet someone or something that makes them want to continue to grow, take care of each other, and live until the end.

“We want to be more aware of the environment around us, and when we find something important in our lives, we want to do our best to always take care of it and grow and maintain it together." The difficulty will always be there until we finish on earth, tired doesn't matter as long as we don't give up," said Charita Utami and Yudhistira Mirza.

Usai Usia (After Age) was written by Yudhistira Mirza and the arrangement was created together with Charita Utami. In addition, there are other names involved in this song. Among them are Pandji Putranda who fills the Grand Piano part, Ricky Virgana on Bass, then mixing and mastering was done by Morizh Ballo at Syaelendra Studio. This song is expected to be a breath of fresh air in the Indonesian music industry in terms of musicality, as well as a reminder for each individual through the lyrics.
