The Most Exciting! Pekan Gembira Ria Presents Fiersa Besari, NDX Aka, and Gilga Sahid

Kapanlagi.com - Amidst the numerous concert cancellations due to unprepared organizers, Pekan Gembira Ria (PGR) is back with their 8th grand concert.

Carrying the theme "The Most Exciting", PGR Vol. 8 will be held at the West Parking Lot of Jiexpo Kemayoran on August 10th and 11th, 2024. Like in previous years, PGR this time will also present top musicians.

"Different from before, this time we will hold a warm-up event called Gembira Ria Night as a Road To PGR Vol. 8. We will present Feel Koplo at Blue Stork Gading Serpong on Friday, July 12th, 2024, for those of you who can't wait for the August event," said Welly Wijaya from Semua Pasti Gembira as the promoter.

Gembira Ria Night will be regularly held from club to club to introduce and popularize Koplo Ambyar music among the upper middle class. The goal is to make this music genre more widely known and not just belong to one social stratum.

1. Tour 13 Cities

At its peak, PGR Vol. 8, held on August 10-11, 2024 at Jiexpo Kemayoran West Parking Lot, will be the stage for NDX AKA to hold the Tour 13 Cities Concert in celebration of their anniversary in September.

"God willing, NDX AKA will tour together with Pekan Gembira Ria in 13 cities, including Kuala Lumpur and Taiwan, starting from September 2024," said Yonanda Frisna Damara, frontman of NDX AKA.

Previously, on the first day of PGR Vol. 8, Saturday, August 10, the stage will be filled by top artists with the concept of SADURDAY. The musicians who will perform are known for their melancholic songs.

2. From Gilga Sahid to Guyon Waton

Fiersa Besari will open the first day with poetic songs and meaningful narratives in between songs. There is also Gilga Sahid, who is currently popular on social media with his new song, Seneng, and Denny Caknan, who has just released his latest work, Sigar.

Guyon Waton will close the first day with heartbreak songs that will surely make you emotional. On the second day, PGR Vol. 8 will be more special. It will start with Jono Joni's stage performance, who this time agrees to dance together for 75 minutes.

Then, there is the legendary band Shaggy Dog, whose performance is always highly anticipated. And, it will be closed by NDX AKA, who will perform interactively and give more space for communication with fans.
