Pursue Music Since the Age of 12, Azel RM and Patras Ready to Enliven the Indonesian Music Industry

Kapanlagi.com - Young Indonesian musician Azel RM, a soloist who has been living and studying in New York for a long time, introduces his debut album titled "RASHAAD".

The album consists of 10 songs with the flagship single titled "Backroom Talk". Through this album, Azel wants to share his thoughts and feelings when experiencing a broken heart.

"Yes, it's about love, heartbreak, things like that. I have experienced a broken heart," said Azel RM during a press conference in the Kemang area, South Jakarta, on Tuesday (2/7/2024).

Although labeled as a newcomer, Azel RM seems to be quite productive in songwriting. Before releasing the album "Rashaad", this young man who has been involved in music since the age of 12 had previously released an EP titled Thin Paper in 2023.

"Now I'm focusing on a new project, but I don't know if it will be an EP or an album. But next year, God willing, there will be an EP. So the goal is to release an EP and an album every year," he said.

1. Experienced Already

If Azel RM is for soloists, Patras is ready to enliven the band group in the homeland through the New Wave music they carry. The band, consisting of Chaska, Bradley, Mahir, and Raihan, introduces their EP titled "Longing Asphalt Garden".

"In the future, it's all about releasing singles first. Last year, we also had a showcase," said Chaska.

2. Hoping for Positive Response

Azel RM and Patras hope that their presence in the music industry can be accepted and receive positive responses from listeners in Indonesia and abroad. Interestingly, these two talented individuals are ready to showcase their stage performances at the Suakarya event, which will be held on Wednesday, July 3, 2024, at ECaps, Kemang, South Jakarta.

"I want to pursue a career in the US, becoming an artist abroad. Hoping to showcase my work in various cities in New York," said Azel RM.
