Promoter Reveals the Process of Inviting Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono to Perform at Pestapora

Kapanlagi.com - The sixth President of Indonesia, Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY), will be one of the performers at Pestapora 2024. As it is known, this music festival will be held at Gambir Expo & Hall D2 JIExpo Kemayoran, Central Jakarta, in September 2024.

The Director of Boss Creator and promoter of Pestapora, Kiki Aulia Ucup, revealed the reason for inviting SBY to perform at the Pestapora Festival.

"Actually, the reason is that Mr. SBY has a music career that we are trying to showcase at Pestapora. The process involved sending a letter to Cikeas, and Cikeas responded positively," said Kiki Aulia Ucup when contacted on Wednesday (3/7/2024).

From there, Ucup then visited SBY's residence in the Cikeas area, West Java, to explain about the Pestapora music festival.

"We visited there. We explained what Pestapora is, what our vision is," he said.

"Well, Mr. SBY listened more because this is his debut performance. And he agreed, that's it," continued Ucup.

1. Initial Idea

Ucup revealed that the idea to bring SBY to Pestapora arose from the previous Idul Fitri celebration.

"Not too long. After Eid, if I'm not mistaken," he said.

2. Fast Process

Then Ucup mentioned that it didn't take a long time to invite SBY to perform at Pestapora.

"Not long, we sent a letter, received a reply, requested to go there, went to Cikeas for an audience, and agreed on the same day. So it's quite fast," he said.

"(As for the song) The conversation hasn't reached that point yet, not that detailed," he concluded.
