Dewa Budjana, Mocca, Hingga Kahitna Ready to Perform at 'Gaia Music Festival: Jazz in The Valley'

A lineup of top Indonesian musicians will perform on the stage of Gaia Music Festival: Jazz in The Valley. They include Mocca, Aditya Ong Quartet, Dua Empat, Elfa's Singer, Ivan Nestorman, Dewa Budjana, and Kahitna.

Novi Samodro, the general manager of Gaia Hotel Bandung, and Rezka M Wildhan stated that this year's Gaia Music Festival presents a different concept from previous years.

“What sets it apart from other concerts is that our concert takes place inside the hotel and outdoor in the valley. That's why we call it Jazz in The Valley. We also prioritize a family-friendly concept," said Novi Samodro during a press conference at Kaum Restaurant, Menteng, Central Jakarta, on Thursday (7/4/2024).

In addition, Gaia Music Festival also emphasizes the concept of being family friendly. Not only parents, but children can also participate. While enjoying the music, they can also enjoy hotel facilities.

The Director of PT Jazz Gunung Indonesia, Bagas Indyatmono, added that this year they have started to prioritize the educational aspect by creating a drum clinic with Nguber Drummer and showcasing young musicians.

"We want to make everyone who attends happy and comfortable and want to come to GMF next time. From year to year, we always combine legends and emerging artists. We want to have a good performance at GMF," he said.

Dewa Budjana, a renowned guitarist from the band Gigi, will give a special performance at the Gaia Music Festival stage. In this event, Budjana will showcase his work from his instrumental music album.

"I will perform with four people featuring my instrumental solo album. Of course, there will be rehearsals, but I'm happy to be able to perform at this event. I've seen the venue, it's really nice under the valley, the room is comfortable and has an ethnic vibe," said Dewa Budjana.

To enjoy this event, you can choose from 3 ticket categories, namely regular class, VIP 1, and VIP 2. The regular category is priced at Rp500,000, VIP 1 at Rp950,000, and VIP 2 at Rp850,000 per day. The organizer also sells 2-day passes at Rp900,000 for regular, Rp1,700,000 for VIP 1, and Rp1,500,000 for VIP.
