The Panturas Sailing Back to 5 Cities Through Sail & Connect Tour

Kapanlagi.com - Since its establishment in 2015, The Panturas has been one of the active players in the music tour scene in Indonesia. With four previous tour series, including the Sail & Connect tour with Jameson Connect, they are now preparing to sail to new regions after almost a year since their last tour.

In the upcoming Sail & Connect tour, The Panturas will not only sail to give performances, but also carry a special mission. The mission includes reestablishing long-lost camaraderie and collaborations.

This tour will cover five locations, namely Bandung (January 21), Malang (January 23), Surabaya (January 24), Bali (January 27), and conclude in Jakarta (January 28).

During the tour, The Panturas collaborated with local collectives at each point, such as Leisure (Bandung), Heartfelt Collective (Malang), Kerass Entertainment (Surabaya), Skullism Records & TOTC BLACKDROBE (Bali), and Paguyuban Crowd Surf (Jakarta).

"We always enjoy collaborating with local collectives during every tour because they are the ones who come from the city and know the condition of their own scene," said Gogon, the bassist of The Panturas.

"Besides that, we are also happy to get to know the members of the local collectives and make new friends. It's not uncommon for friendships to develop during tours and continue until now," added Gogon.

2. Sesi Talkshow

Although music performances remain the main focus, the Sail & Connect tour also offers talkshow sessions at each point with various themes, addressing issues and phenomena currently happening in each city.

These talkshow sessions not only serve as additional entertainment but also support the tour's initial mission of strengthening friendship and collaboration among local music communities.
