Using Natural Selection, The Jansen's Reason for Not Adding New Personnel

Not only that, the band formed in 2015 is also preparing for their fourth album. Bani Satria, the vocalist of The Jansen, revealed that they do not want to rush to find new personnel.

"There is, like, when we want to disband, we still want there to be figures that can collaborate together. So later there will be a different color for the current or previous Jansen. But for now, maybe just take it easy, not rushing," said Bani when met at M Bloc, South Jakarta, Friday (26/4/2024).

According to him, the process of adding new members to fill the void in The Jansen takes quite a long time.

"Basically, we already understand, we already know what the desire is like. So to determine the replacement player, it seems to require a fairly long process and we still use natural selection," said Bani.

"Rather than just joining Jansen, but suddenly shocked or something, it will happen again later. So let's just play it cool," said Bani.

Until now, The Jansen still feels comfortable with its two personnel. Meanwhile, they use additional players to fill the personnel void.

"But, what's certain is that we already have a reliable additional player. So it's just a matter of getting to know each other a little more, then shooting, hahaha," he said.

"Sometimes there's a saying, it's better to get to know each other than to date, hahaha, well, that's it. But how to prolong it to give the impression of false hope. Haha," he concluded.
