This event was also attended by more than 10,000 BRI Group customers and the general public, as well as hundreds of cultural communities in East Java. The event, organized by Tabungan BRI Simpedes, carries the theme 'Confidently Seize Opportunities' and was held on August 26-27, 2023, at Taman Candra Wilwatika, Pandaan.

Flood of Top Celebrities in the Country

The excitement of the event was even more felt with the presence of a series of top celebrities in the country who enlivened the stage of the Simpedes People's Party 2023. They include Via Vallen, Inul Daratista, Slank, and Repvblik.

Not only that, this event also offered various discounts and choices of outstanding MSME products, various culinary snacks, free health checks and basic necessities, education about business and digital literacy, game rides and e-sports competitions, prize harvests, and various other entertainments.

The Simpedes BRI People's Party in 2023 itself took place from July to September 2023 in 20 cities and 362 points throughout Indonesia. This event will be broadcasted live through BRI's Youtube channel and aired on Kompas TV.

Regarding this activity, BRI's Micro Business Director, Supari, revealed that PRS has become BRI's commitment in supporting SMEs in Indonesia.

"The PRS event has been routinely held in several cities to promote superior SMEs in each region. This is in line with PRS's commitment to encourage all SMEs to be more confident in seizing opportunities and succeed in all business sectors," he said.

In addition to showcasing various entertainment, this event also includes various programs to empower SMEs, digital literacy, and provide banking services for customers.

Meanwhile, Pasuruan Regent Irsyad Yusuf, who also attended the event, appreciated BRI's role in supporting the local economy.

"This event is an important collaboration between government agencies and financial institutions such as BRI to improve the welfare of the community," said Irsyad.

Educational Talkshow for SMEs

In this Pandaan 2023 PRS, BRI's commitment to empower SMEs is realized through an educational talkshow for SMEs. The talkshow aims to provide new knowledge to SME actors so that they can develop more rapidly.

The UMKM Class education stage presents two main themes, 'Grow Your Business and Produce Popular Products' and 'Positioning Brand and Creating Basic Content'. The hope is that by organizing this UMKM class, it can empower SME actors and provide knowledge and preparation to achieve success in the business world.

Not only that, the Pandaan 2023 PRS is also enlivened with a series of interesting events. On the first day, the PRS started with an art and cultural parade agenda, participated by more than 500 participants including marching bands, fashion parades, reog and jaranan performances, Majapahit exhibitions, and inter-village cultural parades.

Then there is the Pasar area, which is a bazaar activity for UMKM participants to sell superior products typical of Pandaan City. This bazaar area serves as a reference for financial digitalization activities in changing the habits of customers from using cash to cashless through the BRImo application. It is hoped that customers can get used to using the application with its features.

Furthermore, there is the Panen activity, which is a luxurious prize draw in the form of millions of rupiah in cash that can be participated by all visitors, as well as the announcement of lucky draw winners. The 2023 BRI People's Party also provides entertainment activities through the X'Sis Corner, which is filled with mural activities in collaboration with local art, Durian Festival, and many other exciting activities through the X'Sis Corner.
