"A few weeks before Ramadan 2018, that was the first time I entered the lecturer's room to offer nastar. He responded positively, whether because it tastes good or he appreciates his student's business. Regardless of his reasons, I am truly grateful to him for giving us hope to run this business," Rara continued.

Sweet Success of Name Change

After a year of doing business with the name Favores, Rara started innovating from the brand name she established. Rara now has a new name for her business, which is Madhuri, meaning sweet. The results are satisfying. This new name also yields significant sales.

"Until now, Madhuri continues to experience growth, with more than 1000 jars of cookies sold. Then, in August 2021, Madhuri has differentiated its products by launching pasta variants," the owner explained.

When asked about their flagship menu, Rara explained that the nastar from Madhuri Cookies is very special compared to similar products on the market.

"Nastar is the champion of our cookie products. The dough has a very soft texture with homemade pineapple jam filling, without preservatives, and beautified with a shiny egg yolk glaze," said Rara.
