The report from Rayen Pono against Ahmad Dhani has now entered a more serious phase at the Metro Jaya Police. Rayen's attorney, Jajang, revealed that several witnesses have been questioned by investigators in this legal process.

"The Metro Jaya Police have informed us that they have conducted examinations of the witnesses," said Jajang at his press conference in the Bangka area, Kemang, South Jakarta, Tuesday (10/6/2025).

Several names called to provide testimony come from musicians who have connections or knowledge related to this case. "Among them are Armand Maulana, Sammy Simorangkir, Badai, and Ari Bias," Jajang stated.

The examination of the witnesses has apparently been conducted since the beginning of last month, indicating that the legal process is ongoing. According to Jajang's explanation, all of this is done to delve deeper into the case of alleged defamation against his client.

"The case has become a public concern, we must ensure it doesn't spiral out of control," Jajang stated.

Rayen Pono is said to be experiencing various negative impacts due to this legal issue, especially from attacks that have emerged on social media. Jajang emphasized that Rayen is actually the victim in this matter.

"His social media is being attacked by buzzers with 0 followers, yet their comments are extraordinary, as if in this case, Bung Rayen is the criminal, whereas he is actually the victim here," he stated.

The report by Rayen against Ahmad Dhani concerns allegations of violations of several articles in the Criminal Code and related laws on discrimination.

Jajang stated that the report was officially registered some time ago. This report was then registered under the number LP/B/188/IV/2025/SPKT/BARESKRIM POLRI, on April 23, 2025.

Previously, Ahmad Dhani had been subjected to ethical sanctions by the Honorary Council of the House (MKD) for his statement that changed the surname Rayen Pono to 'Porno'. In that session, Ahmad Dhani was given a light sanction and was asked to publicly apologize.

"As a member of the DPR, I apologize to the reporter and also apologize for all kinds of, uh, one kind of slip of the tongue," said Ahmad Dhani to the media crew at the DPR RI, West Jakarta, Wednesday (7/5/2025).

Ahmad Dhani also acknowledged that his statement was unintentional and occurred due to a slip of the tongue while speaking in public. He stated that there was no intention to belittle anyone, including the Pono clan.

"Yes, earlier I had a slip of the tongue, mispronounced, which made one of the blue blood clans angry and unable to accept it," he continued," said Dhani.
