Senior comedian Mandra has been looking slimmer and healthier lately. When met in the area of Jalan Kapten Tendean, Mampang, South Jakarta, recently, he shared tips on maintaining weight as well as his unusual eating habits.

"I just went back to it, it’s a hobby but the eating has to be controlled," said Mandra, emphasizing the importance of awareness not to overeat. Let’s check it out! If not now, when?

Mandra admitted that he still enjoys his favorite foods, such as durian and candies, but he remains cautious not to be too greedy. For him, maintaining control is the key to a healthy eating pattern.

"Usually eating durian, eating candies means not to be too greedy. Sometimes people lose control, that’s what greedy people do. Sometimes they eat at any time, even when they are resting, they still eat," he revealed.

When asked about his daily eating habits, Mandra admitted that he only eats two to three times a day. However, he also added other habits that he finds hard to avoid, such as drinking coffee and smoking. "Now if I have two or three times, yeah I drink strong coffee, smoke a lot, yes," he said.

Mandra also shared a funny story about his wife who often reminds him to reduce smoking. He admitted that he has started to cut back, although he hasn't completely stopped yet.

"Until my wife said, 'please reduce the smoking.' (I replied) 'don't you see, from a pack now how many are left, that means I've reduced a lot.' I want to relax," Mandra said jokingly.

For him, the balance between maintaining a diet and enjoying life is important. Mandra is not too hard on himself, but still tries to maintain a healthy lifestyle as much as possible.

Mandra's simplicity in following this lifestyle shows that he understands his body's needs. Although he hasn't completely abandoned certain habits, he remains committed to living healthier. "The important thing is to relax and not be too greedy, that’s it," he concluded.
