Kapanlagi.com - The passing of Marissa Haque on October 2, 2024, still leaves a deep sorrow for the family, especially for her husband, Ikang Fawzi, and their children. Even three weeks after Marissa's departure, the family is still trying to accept and be sincere about her passing.

"So our family's condition right now is still trying to learn to be strong and sincere. It's definitely a process that must be gone through, for sure," said Bella Fawzi at TPU Tanah Kusir, South Jakarta, Tuesday (15/10/2024).

On October 15, 2024, the extended family of Marissa Haque returned to the grave to pray for the deceased, coinciding with her birthday. For Bella, this is the best way to celebrate her mother's birthday with love and prayers.

"That's right, today we came to visit the grave of my late mother because today coincides with October 15, which is my mother's birthday. Because my mother was indeed called by the Almighty before her birthday," said Bella.

"So, the way we celebrate Mother's birthday now is by doing this, visiting her grave, sending prayers, and scattering flowers as a sign of our love and attention to our late mother," she added.

Ikang Fawzi, Marissa's husband, also appeared at the grave with a more serene expression. Although the loss of his wife still feels heavy, Ikang is trying to be sincere and accept God's will.

"Actually, by acknowledging the power of Allah the Almighty, I am powerless, I can only believe in what has been outlined by Allah SWT," said Ikang Fawzi.

Ikang's love for Marissa has never faded. He expressed that his love for his wife is based on faith in Allah SWT, and he believes that everything that happens is part of God's best plan, even though it is difficult to understand from a human perspective.

"I love my wife because of Allah SWT. When we are meant to be separated, it means that is what is best even though I cannot think from which side that is the best," he said.

Over time, Ikang began to see the greatness of God in the passing of his wife. He felt that the support and prayers coming from many people were evidence of how respected Marissa was during her lifetime.

"God is All-Knowing, perhaps time will explain all of that. It is already evident now, Marissa returned in extraordinary condition, with much support, praise, so much," he concluded.
