Admitting to Being Held Captive, Former Domestic Worker Reports Nirina Zubir's Sister

Kapanlagi.com - Riri Khasmita's legal representative, a suspect in the embezzlement of Nirina Zubir's family assets, visited the West Jakarta Metro Police on Wednesday (11/24/2021). They came to gather information regarding the transfer of their client's report against Nirina Zubir's sister, Fadlan Karim.

"Today, we are here to seek information regarding the transfer of our report from the provincial police to the West Jakarta Metro Police. The report was made by our client, Riri Khasmita. The one reported is Fadhlan (Nirina Zubir's sister)," said Syakhrudin, Riri Khasmita's legal representative.

According to Syakhrudin, his client's report has been processed by the investigators at the West Jakarta Metro Police and has been scheduled to provide a statement regarding the report.

"We have coordinated with the investigators earlier. So, tomorrow, my client should be questioned further. However, at the moment, I have to coordinate with the provincial police because our client is in their custody," he said.

"Regarding the kidnapping. For the past year, our client has not been allowed to leave the house. Only one person, either the husband or wife, is allowed to leave. Meanwhile, our client has been demanded payment by a certificate as mentioned by Nirina's sister," said Putra Kurniadi, Riri Khasmita's lawyer.

"So based on that, our client filed a report. Our client's freedom is being restricted. There is tight 24-hour security in front of our client's house. Our client is not allowed to leave. The gate is locked. If they want to go out, they have to exchange with their child. So based on that, we filed a report because their family's freedom has been taken away," added Putra Kurniadi.

As known, Riri Khasmita is the household assistant of Cut Indria Martini, the mother of Nirina Zubir. Recently, Riri and her husband, along with several others, were arrested and detained at the Jakarta Metro Police for embezzling Nirina Zubir's land assets.
